Who We Are
We are InCLASS, a nonprofit committed to walking alongside alternative learners in grades 6–12 on the Treasure Coast of Florida, empowering them with the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive—both in and beyond the classroom. We serve students who feel disconnected because their learning environment doesn't always provide the peer interaction, guidance, or structure they need to grow socially, emotionally, and as leaders.
Our nonprofit is for people who believe all students deserve a community that inspires purpose, builds character, and prepares the whole person for life beyond the classroom. We are deeply committed to ensuring students are educated and supported, and find their purpose, and build confidence and connections.
Our Programs
-
CLASS represents the five core focus areas that guide our programming and shape every experience we provide for students in grades 6–12.
-
We help students build real-world skills and explore future pathways through hands-on, project-based learning.
Students develop professional communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to careers, college and trade options, workplace expectations, financial literacy, and essential digital tools. Resume building, interview practice, and local business exposure help students connect learning to real life.
-
Our leadership programs empower students to find their voice, take initiative, and lead with confidence.
Students participate in leadership roles, youth advisory opportunities, workshops, retreats, and student-led projects that build communication, collaboration, goal-setting, and civic engagement skills. Leadership portfolios and recognition help students track growth and celebrate impact.
-
We provide structured academic support to help students stay organized, motivated, and confident in their learning.
Support includes access to a coworking space, tutoring, academic coaching, study skills workshops, test preparation, college and scholarship support, and educational field trips. Our goal is to help students develop strong habits that support long-term success.
-
Service learning helps students develop empathy, responsibility, and leadership while giving back to their community.
Students design and lead community service projects from start to finish, working with peers and community partners to identify needs, plan solutions, and reflect on their impact. Creative service projects and an annual youth showcase highlight student voice and contribution.
-
We create a safe, supportive environment where students and families feel encouraged and connected.
Support includes peer and adult mentorship, wellness and stress-management activities, community circles, transition support at key milestones, family engagement events, and referrals to local resources. Students are supported not just academically, but as whole individuals.
